Does The Ford Trailer Sway Need To Be Turned Of When Using a Weight Distribution and Sway Hitch?
Question:
I have an Equilizer weight distribution hitch with sway bars for towing a travel trailer. Should I disable the sway control function on my 2021 F150?

You do not have to disable the trailer sway control system on your 2021 Ford F-150 with the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET. Ford also does not recommend disabling that system unless there may be a safety risk with the trailer brakes activating to reduce sway while hauling. With the Equal-i-zer doing its job it will likely not even allow the Ford sway system to activate while you are driving unless it senses some severe sway.
