For your application I recommend going with the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Trailer Winch # TW4015 rated for 1,500 lbs. This is powered by 12V DC power which is what your Li-ion battery will supply. I really like the remote that comes with this so you can step back and keep an eye on things when loading or unloading your boat.
