The Thule Passage 2 bike carrier # TH910XT is considered a fit for your 2012 Honda Civic Sedan. To carry a ladies bike on this bike rack it is advised that an adapter bar like # TH982XT be used.

This adapter bar attaches to the seat post and the handle bar stern post and provides a horizontal bar for securing it in the bike rack. Using an adapter bar for carrying a womans bike helps to mount the bike in a more level position and helps to improve ground clearance. This also mounts the bike more symmetrically on the bike rack and evenly distributes the weight of the bike to the trunk of your 2012 Honda Civic. Please note that this bike rack is limited to a weight carrying capacity of 35 pounds per bike.
