Bike Carrying Options for 2010 Mini Cooper S Convertible

Is there a 1 or 2 bicycle rack for my vehicle? I would rather not go to the trouble of getting a hitch installed.

I have spoken with my representative from Thule, Yakima and Hollywood Racks, and have found that none of them offer a trunk mounted rack that would be compatible with your 2010 Mini Cooper S Convertible, as the
trunk lid is not large enough to provide a secure mounting surface for the bike rack.
Since the convertible top makes a roof rack out of the question, a hitch mounted solution would be your only option. The Curt Class I hitch, part # C11130 is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. I have linked you to an installation video and instructions for you to look over.
The Swagman Trailhead, part # S63360 is an excellent moderately-priced bike rack that provides essential features like an anti-rattle hitch pin and anti-sway cradles that will keep the bikes from swaying back and forth during transport. A locking hitch pin and cable lock is available separately as part # S64031.
