What Slide-Out Cargo Box Allows Me to Open My Rear Doors on My GMC Sierra Van?
Question:
Question Have a Savvana GMC van. From the back bumper to the edge/end of door when it is open is 29 or 30 inches. Does the HGK826 and/or H00604 slide out far enough to allow doors to swing open?

The GearDeck 17 # H00604 does provides you with enough clearance if your rear doors of your GMC Savanna Van measure 29-30 inches when fully open. Since the closest edge of the carrier of the GearDeck 17 measures 50 inches away from the hitch pinhole when fully extended, you will have enough clearance. Unfortunately, the GearSpace 34 # HGK826 does not provide you with enough room when fully extended. Since the GearDeck 17 allows you to open your doors, I recommend that carrier over the GearSpace 34.
The GearDeck 17 requires a hitch receiver and a wiring harness in order to function. If you need a hitch and a wiring harness, feel free to respond to this answer with your year of GMC Savana van, and I will be happy to recommend those parts for you.
