From what I have found, the 04848 you referenced is the part number for your Sears cargo box, not the number for the replacement key. I recommend looking at the face of your lock core to find the number, it is usually stamped into the lock. There should be a number other than 04848 that is likely a 4 digit number. If you let me know what this number is I can help you find the right replacement key if it is available.
If you are unable to identify the lock and the key required, or a replacement key isn't available, I recommend replacing the lock core with the Replacement Lock Core and Key for SportRack Explorer Cargo Box - Qty 1 # SR03807. You'll need to ensure this resembles your current lock for this to work.
