Carrying Three Kayaks On Erickson Ladder Rack
Question:
Hello there. I’m looking for a way to carry my three kayaks on a bed rack on my 2008 Ram 2500 short bed. I’m looking at the Ericsson ladder rack. What kayak mounts will work for three? Will the Rhino kayak mounts attach to this ladder rack? Thanks for your time

The Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Load Stops - Aluminum - 800 lbs, part # EM07705, has crossbars that are 3-1/4" wide and 1-1/4" tall at their peak. They are not compatible with most of our kayak carriers, including the Rhino Rack options. We have gotten confirmation from Swagman that this ladder rack, Swagman Contour Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style - Fixed Arms, part # S65148 is compatible with the Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack. Unfortunately, you may not be able to fit three j-style carriers next to each other on this ladder rack and none of our kayak stackers will fit this crossbar.
