Brake Controller Recommendation for 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
Question:
Hi, I was wondering if you could help me choose a trailer brake controller? I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD and tow only one camper that weighs about 6500# and has 2 axles 4 brakes. I would like one that will work with the wire harness adapter to make the install easier.

The Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED24FR that you referenced would be a great brake controller solution for your 2002 Chevy Silerado 2500HD. All you'd need to install it is the correct install harness part # 3025-S with the # RED69FR which would wire to the controller and then plug into the port under the hood of your truck.
What's great about the Liberty is that it's proportional meaning it senses how hard you apply the truck brakes and applies the trailer brakes to match that and only a knob ends up installed on the truck dash
