Will The K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors # KS80710 Damage the Paint On My 2010 Dodge Ram
Question:
My mjrrors on my dodge ram are painted the same color as my truck, will these damage my paint or clear coat?

Expert Reply:
The K-Source Custom Towing Mirrors, part # KS80710, you referenced are a fit for your Dodge Ram if the OEM mirrors are not the extendable or telescoping mirrors. These mirrors have 2 cushioned strips attached to help provide a more secure fit and reduce vibration or wind noise.
I would suggest cleaning the mirrors on your Dodge Ram, and you may consider applying a coat of car wax to help protect your factory mirrors before you install them. This may greatly reduce the potential of any damage to your painted surfaces on you mirrors.
