Is Roadmaster RM-88400 Brake-Lite Relay Kit Needed to Flat Tow 2019 Buick Envision

Question:

I have a 2019 Buick Envision. Im using the Roadmaster combo kit with diodes to hook up my brake lights on the car. Will I need the brake light relay kit? I dont think so but wanted to check with you. Thanks

The 2019 Buick Envision use a combined taillight system which uses the same dual-intensity bulb for both the turn signals and the brake lamps. Because of that, the Roadmaster # RM-88400 brake light relay is NOT needed.

To prevent the battery from being drained while towing the vehicle, you'll need to remove the fuses in position F29 and F32 from the fuse block located in the glove compartment while towing, and replace them to drive the vehicle normally. A fuse bypass switch, # RM76512 would allow you to bypass the fuses with the flick of a switch instead of physically removing the switches each time you flat tow.
