The correct Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for a 1982 Chevrolet El Camino are the # AL60733. The # AL60769 is for other vehicles and not designed to fit an El Camino. These are designed to fit inside of your vehicle's rear coil spring suspension for added support with a load leveling capacity of 1,000 lbs.
