What Replacement Mounting Brackets and Crossmember Fits My Snowbear Winter Wolf on My 2018 Colorado?
Question:
I need to replace the existing 2 point cross member for mounting my winter wolf plow because it does not have enough lift. Do these mounting brackets mount higher on the vehicle than the OEM Snowbear cross member mount ?

I have an answer for you about your Snowbear Winter Wolf plow. Unfortunately, the Custom Mounting Bracket Kit # SB397-014 does not fit your 2018 Chevy Colorado. I confirmed with my tech at Snowbear that the correct bracket kit that replaces the OEM brackets is the Custom Mounting Bracket Kit # SB397-133. Also, this kit does not include the crossmember. If you need the crossmember, you need the 5XM5 Universal Cross Member for SnowBear Snowplows # SB324-060.
As far as the installation of these components, I confirmed with my tech that the brackets and the crossmembers are designed as a direct replacement of the OEM hardware. The parts install in the exact same location as the original parts.
