Replacement 3-Leaf Double Eye Springs For A 2015 Pacific Coachworks 14RBS

Question:

Pacific Coach Works 2015 14RBS, 3500 single axle. Dexter axle over slung conversion kit Dexter HD wet shackles. Three leaf e57SR. I believe, can you tell me in my history? Ordered approx. 2 years ago from you. I flattened one spring in a pot hole. Same as the OEM before them. I need new springs. As the trailer sits on its weight the good leaf is 26in. eye to eye. I think the length I purchased was 25.25 un-sprung, trying to make it as bullet proof as I can. questions Planing to add the Sumo TSS 107 40 ? Can you tell me what leaf springs I ordered? If not, which or the two would be better 4k 3 leaf e57SR or 3.5K 4 leaf, e54SR with the sumo springs? Planning using all the hardware except the U axle bolts, or do I need to replace the plates as well? Thankyou

Helpful Expert Reply:

I went ahead and checked your previous order, and found that you did in-fact order the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,000-lb Trailer Axles # e57SR.

The SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs # TSS-107-40 are designed to work well with either # e57SR or # e54SR as long as your axle capacity is between 3,000-5,000-lbs.

However, if you're planning on changing out your current leaf springs # e57SR with # e54SR, you're going to need to change out both leaf springs to ensure that you have proper axle alignment and suspension alignment.

If you're getting new leaf sprigs, I recommend also a fresh set of hardware # APUBR-1. The shackle bolt is not included, so if you need that as well, you can use # 166081.
