When replacing the old style with the new BX1 coupler inner tube only is it really necessary to add the second set screw? What is the purpose of the second set screw? Thank you.

Both set screws on the Bulldog BX1 Gooseneck Coupler Inner Tube # BD1289050300 serve to help minimize vibration. These are to be torqued to 125 ft-lbs.
