Tonneau Cover Compatible w/ TracRac Sliding Ladder Rack on 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 w/ 6-1/2' Bed

Question:

What tonneau covers will work with the TracRac system. 6.5 bed on a 2014 Chevy Silverado. You guys made a video that used a rolling aluminum tonneau cover I think it was made by BAK. But you said in the video that any cover would work as long as its rails were side mounted to the bed. Can you recommend a few other covers?

Thanks for that info, and there are indeed a number of tonneau covers that fit your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 6-1/2 foot bed and are compatible with the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-781.

I'll give you a couple of different options for the tonneau cover, depending on the type you want as well as budget.

- Leer Soft Tonneau Cover - Roll Up # LE58VR

- BAK Revolver X4s Hard Tonneau Cover - Roll Up # BAK52VR

If you just want a basic, no-frills cover, then the best option for that is the Leer # LE58VR. It is the most economical cover compatible with the TracRac, and will simply do the job of giving your Silverado a dry truck bed and keeping it covered. It installs easily with clamps, opens with levers you pinch when you open your tailgate, and sits about 1-1/2" above your bed rails. That means the Leer is low-profile, but won't provide a completely streamlined look.

The other option is the Revolver X4s # BAK52VR which combines the ease of a roll-up soft tonneau cover with the rigidity and strength of a hard cover due to its use of individual 1/4" thick aluminum slats that are covered with a matte black vinyl. You can roll it up by simply pulling a cord on either side of the cover, and it installs without any drilling and nothing more than a wrench. The X4s is also a flush-mounted cover, which means it sits even with your bed rails which enhances its overall aesthetic.
