When installing the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611 there should be no change in the space between the bottom of the spring and the axle. The RAS system has a bolt on installation and will install on top of your leaf springs. The leaf springs remain attached to the axle just as they were before.
I have attached an installation video for your reference.
