Using Titan Electric Over Hydraulic Braking System with 2012 Ford F-150 Factory Brake Controller

I have purchased the T4843800 kit. My tow vehicle is a 2012 ford F150 with factory installed towing system. Do I need to use a brake adapter with the kit? Does it splice into the actuator wires?

According to our contacts at Titan for the 2012 Ford F-150 with a factory integrated brake controller you will need to use an adapter to use an electric over hydraulic braking system like the one that comes with # T4843800. The correct adapter is # T4845900. This adapter will simulate the brake magnet resistance that the brake controller looks for when a trailer is connected allowing the system to work properly.
