Will The Air Lift Air Bag Helper Springs For The 2018 Chevrolet Suburban Firm The Ride When Towing?
Question:
Hello, General questions for this product. I have a 1500 2018 suburban I use to tow a trailer at dry weight of about 4900 pounds. I also use a weight distribution hitch with a sway bar. My issue is while driving with the trailer, it feels like Im on the water with a boat. It gets pretty bad with the bounces. Will these air bags firm up the suspension at all or should I be looking to other solutions? Thank you in advance.

Yes, the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs # AL60769 will help to firm up your ride on the rear of your 2018 Chevrolet Suburban 1500. The bags work by pushing between the coils in the rear springs which provides a firmer ride and does not allow the coils to compress as easily.
I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ as this compressor has a smart manifold that will monitor the air pressure inside the bags and keep the pressure to within 3psi when the vehicle is being operated. This will protect the air bags from being under inflated or over inflated and risk damage to the bag.
