Recommended Replacement Air Conditioner for Ducted Dometic Duo Therm AC

Hello I have a 97 Dutchmen camper is 35ft ducted system need to replace the ac unit on roof the opening is 14.5x14.5 I have the old style slide thermostat old unit isa duo therm what is needed to perform the repair thank you? Looking for plug n play

I recommend Replacing your current Dometic Duo Therm AC on your 97 Dutchmen with the Advent Air, # ACDOM150. This has been designed specifically to replace Dometic setups allowing for an easier install process. You will be able to use your current vent assembly and your current wall mounted thermostat will just need to be wired into the new system (it will come with a detailed diagram to assist with this).

This is a 15,000 Btu AC that also comes with a start capacitor that will used stored energy to kick it on when needed. This greatly reduces the amount of power you will need to draw from your power source (battery, generator, etc).
