Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers For 2021 Coachmen Freedom Express 257BHS
Question:
Good evening. We own a 2021 Coachmen Freedom Express 257BHS. What Roadmaster Shock Absorber Kit would I need for this TT? I have the RM-2460 in my Cart but not sure. I also have the Dexter K71-653-00 in my Cart. Would that be the correct one for the same trailer? Any other parts I may need for the install if in fact these are the correct kits? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for that info, and I was able to find the correct Comfort Ride kit for your 2021 Coachmen Freedom Express 257BHS. According to Coachmen, your Freedom Express 257BHS has a pair of 3,500 lb axles, so the correct shocks are the following:
- Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3,500 lb Axle # RM-2450
No other parts are needed for the install, and the Comfort Ride # RM-2450 is a really nice choice for your trailer because they are going to provide a much smoother ride and more comfortable towing experience. They will limit the bounce and movement of your Coachmen as it tracks behind your tow vehicle, so the trailer won't be fighting you, so to speak, improving your ride's overall handling.
As for the equalizer upgrade, that is going to depend on the measurements of the current equalizer (which I was unable to find). So the right one will depend on the distance across from center to center of the bolts holes, and the height from the top of the equalizer to the center of the upper bolt hole. If you can let me know that I can try and find the right equalizer upgrade for you.
