Electric Bike Rack Rated for Use on a Motorhome and Flat Tow

Question:

Looking for hitch mounted bike rack rated for electric bikes as well as RV. Going to be on a flat towed car. Finding some on you site for RV but they note no flat towed vehicle. Why is that and what do you recommend? Thanks!

I do have a great option for you. But the reason you are seeing some that are ok for use on RV's and/or flat towed vehicles is because each style provides its own set of challenges on the bike rack. So you may find a rack that is ok for a motorhome that is not ok for flat towing. That basically means that the rack was tested for the motorhome and passed the test to be recommended for that. The same rack may have been tested for flat towing and the different circumstances that come with that prove to be a deal breaker. Or it may have just not been tested for flat towing and so they will not recommend it. So essentially if the rack has been tested and deemed ok for that purpose then it is given the go ahead, otherwise it is not recommended.
