Is Bike Frame Adapter Bar Supposed to Sit Loose on Bike

Question:

Hello I just purchased the kuat beta with the adaptor bar for a female bike. I am not understanding how to tighten the bar once I clip it on. Is it just supposed to be loose while hanging between the front post and the seat post? Is there a way to tighten it? Thank you.

Thank you for your purchase of the Kuat Beta # B202-2 and the Ubar Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01. This bike rack is definitely one of my favorites!

The hooks for the bike adapter bar will fit loosely over your handle and seat posts as gravity will naturally pull the bike down when it's loaded on the bike rack. The center bar pieces have that elastic-type connection in the middle of that pulls the bar back to it's natural resting position for best fitment.
