Does The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller Need To Be Set Every time The Vehicle Shuts Off

When the Curt Echo brake controller is activated, will I need to re-activate the App again when I stop for gas and shut off the Tow Vehicle engine?

The Curt Echo # C51180 will remember the last setting, so when your vehicle restarts you will not have to restart the Curt Echo app to set the braking force.
