Can Hydrastar Actuator Adapter HBA-CAM Be Simply Cut from Wiring to Remove
Question:
I have this adapter module installed on my boat trailer to make it compatible with my 2017 GMC Sierra. If I buy a new truck that doesnt require the adapter or if I sell my boat to someone whose truck doesnt need the adapter, is it as easy as disconnecting the blue and white wires of the adapter module from the control box? Would any other electrical connection changes be needed? Thank you for your help.

Expert Reply:
If you need to remove the adapter part # HBA-CAM from your setup it would be just a matter of removing it from the wiring of your actuator and you'd be fine. Probably need to use some electrical tape to seal up the wiring but other than that you'd be good.
