What is the Profile on the Bottom Side of the Westin Oval Tube Steps # 22-5055 for Ford Ranger

Question:

Hi, Can you tell me what the bottom of these 22-5055 running boards look like? You have 2 different installation instructions and they each show a different bottom profile The installation instructions show the tube completely closed in, with a pair of T slots running the lenght of the tube. The alternate instructions show the tube with a wide opening running the length of the tube. Can you confirm which profile I would get if I order these? Thanks,

Helpful Expert Reply:

The Westin Back Powder Coat Oval Tube Steps for Ford Ranger, part # 22-5055, have a T-slot that runs the length of the step to allow for flexibility during installation. The two sets of instructions have different illustrations to reflect the multiple sets of mount adapter plates that are supplied with the install kit (but not all parts will be used in any given application).
