Replacement AC Unit For A 2010 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Lite Travel Trailer
Question:
Hi, I need to replace a AC unit on my 2010 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Light Travel Trailer. It is a model # 1640L. Body Style- TE. The trailer is 27 foot, is ducted for AC and has thermostat controlled. I would like to find a unit 13500 or 15000 btu that would fit without any alterations. Preferably white in color. For your 2010 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Lite Travel Trailer, you have a few options.
The Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner # FR92PR would work great for you, it has controls on the unit so you would not use your existing thermostat at all. This unit is compatible with ductless and ducted systems, is a 15,000 Btu unit, will fit into a standard roof opening of 14-1/4" x 14-1/4", and roofs that are 3-1/2" to 6" thick.
If you want to utilize your existing thermostat, I recommend the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup w/ Start Capacitor # ACDOM150. This unit will also work with ducted systems, is a 15,000 Btu unit, will fit into a standard roof opening of 14-1/4" x 14-1/4", and roofs that are 2-1/2" to 5" thick.
