Is There a 1-7/8" Trailer Coupler for 2" Channel Rated Over 2,000 Lbs
Question:
Hello - looking for something that may not exist. a 1 7/8 coupler on a 2 inch channel that has greater than 2000 lb capacity. It seems all couplers designed on a 2 channel are limited to 2000 lbs. Ideally wed have something that fits that size ball and 2 channel in the 3000 - 3500 lb capacity. Any information would be appreciated!

The hitch ball size plays into weight capacity which is why you won't find many 1-7/8" trailer couplers rated over 2,000 lbs. If you need a higher weight capacity you'd have to bump up to a 2" hitch ball using a coupler like the Curt QuickPin No-Latch Trailer Coupler for 2" Ball part # C82CR.
