Do Firestone Ride Rite Air Bag Kits for 2020 Ford F-350 Affect Ride Quality
Question:
I have a 2020 F350 and tow a 8600lbs dry weight travel trailer, loaded up it’s about 9000lbs. With no air in the airbags and not towing, is there any ride quality difference between no airbags/with airbags? And any difference in ride quality with the 5000 vs 7500? Besides the price difference, is there any reason to go with the 5000 vs 7500? Can I put less air in the 7500 while towing to get similar ride quality as the 5000? Thank you.

When you have the minimum air pressure in the air bag kits like the Firestone kits that fit your 2020 Ford F-350 it would not affect the ride quality at all. As you add pressure you may notice it get bouncier. The ride quality is not significantly different between the 5000 and 7500 kits either. You just would get additional support on the higher end of the bag's pressure range.
So for the 7500 lb kits that fit your truck you'd want the # F95FV if you have a dually model or the part # F95FV for if you have a non-dually.
For the 5000 its you'd want the # F35FV.
