A 5th wheel trailer can be towed using a gooseneck-equipped truck either by use of an adapter, such as the Convert-A-Ball # CAB-C5G, by use of a Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Rail Adapter Plate such as the Curt X5, part # C16210, or by replacing the 5th wheel pin box with an adapter pin box.

Products like the Curt X5 are application-specific; the X5 is compatible with Curt Double-Lock and Flip and Store gooseneck hitches (C-60 and C-600 series). We also offer the Curt adapter for B and W square shank Turnover Ball Hitches, part # 16310.

You might refer to the linked article concerning methods to adapt these two types of trailer couplers.
I have also provided a link to our page for all such items.
