Weight Distribution with Sway Control Recommendation for Trailer with 550 lb Tongue Weight

Question:

Have new travel trailer ordered want to know what kind of weight distribution with sway control system to use. GTW 4500 TW 550. Round bar or trunion 2 point 4 point. Want system thats easy to use. also does it matter if I go higher in weight?

To pick out a weight distribution system you want to do it based on the loaded tongue weight of the trailer. Since your tongue was mentioned at being 550 lbs the system I would recommend is the Fastway e2 kit part # FA92-00-0800 which has a tongue weight range of 500 to 800 lbs, has 2 point sway control, and is a trunnion bar system which means it will have better ground clearance.
