First you will want to check for the 30 amp maxi fuse located in position 28 of the power distribution box located under the hood of your 1999 Ford F-350 Super Duty. The box is located near the brake master cylinder on the drivers side. If it is missing or damaged replace with another 30 amp maxi fuse.

That should get you power so that you can use the Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3035-P with your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195.

If you still do not have power you can test the fuse connection in the distribution box to ensure there is nothing wrong with the power coming into the fuse. A Test Light # PTW2993 can be used to test the power in the fuse panel along with on the wire to determine if you have a damaged wire or connector in your factory harness.
