Can a Kar Kaddy 3 Fender Be Used on a Kar Kaddy SS

Can I substitute the Kar Kaddy 3 fender part#DM97FR on a 2017 Kar Kaddy SS part#DR74FR. They seem to have the exact same specs.

While the Replacement Fender Assembly for Demco Kar Kaddy 3 Tow Dolly # DM97FR and the Replacement Fender Assembly for Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly # DR74FR are very similar they are not quite the same and you would not want to use the Replacement Fender Assembly for Demco Kar Kaddy 3 Tow Dolly # DM97FR on your 2017 Kar Kaddy SS. The Replacement Fender Assembly for Demco Kar Kaddy 3 Tow Dolly # DM97FR is for Kar Kaddys that are 2011 or older.

The main difference is going to be in the lighting/wiring. The newer Replacement Fender Assembly for Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly # DR74FR uses and is wired for LED lights which would be what your Kar Kaddy is wired for. The older Replacement Fender Assembly for Demco Kar Kaddy 3 Tow Dolly # DM97FR is wired differently because it does not have the LED lights.
