Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For A 2007 Chevy Tahoe Towing A 2021 Coleman Lantern 17B TT

Question:

I have an 07 Chevy Tahoe pulling a 2021 coleman lantern 17b. The tongue weight is 375 pounds and the trailer weight is 3000 lbs. with a 2 5/16 ball. Which weight distribution / anti sway system do you recommend? Thank you.

To help distribute the weight of your 2021 Coleman Lantern 17B travel trailer properly with your 2007 Chevy Tahoe and reduce sway I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37060ET.

This hitch uses steel-on-steel friction to prevent and correct trailer sway. This can be a bit noisy, but friction styled systems tend to offer much better control. Sway control brackets also ensure that your trailer stays in line with your Tahoe. A 2" Hitch ball and adjustable shank is included but if your 2-5/16" ball is 2-3/8" long x 1-1/4" diameter you will be able to use it on this system. If not, you can use the # EQ91-00-6100.

It features no-drill, clamp-on brackets that can be adjusted along the trailer frame to accommodate frame-mounted items such as gas tanks, battery boxes, toolboxes, or generators. The snap-up lever eases installation by reducing lifting required by trailer jack.
