Can I use a sidewinder hitch with a gooseneck ball hitch ?

No, Sidewinder Pin Boxes like the Reese # RP34FR require four points on contact when mounting so a gooseneck ball hitch would not be compatible.
Instead you can replace with your gooseneck hitch with the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2602 and use the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3255. You will also need the Reese 5th Airborne Custom Wedge for B&W Fifth Wheels # SWW-06 to prevent the king pin from rotating in the jaws of the hitch.
