Hub & Drum w/ 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern & Electric Brakes That Fit 3,500 lb Timbren Axle-Less System
Question:
Hello what brake and hub kit do I need to add electric brakes with 6x5.5 bolt pattern to a Timbren axleless kit?

There is a hub and drum with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern, as well as electric brakes, that will work with the 3,500 lb Timbren Axle-Less systems. I wanted to mention that you do have the option of either a straight spindle or a 4" lift spindle if you wanted to add some height to your trailer.
I'll go ahead and list out below the Timbrens, as well as the hub and drum and electric brakes that will work:
- Straight Spindle: Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - 3,500 lbs # ASR3500S05
or
- 4" Lift Spindle: Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - 3,500 lbs # ASR3500S06
- Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 6 on 5-1/2 # 84656UC3-EZ
- Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-468-469
This will give you exactly what you are looking for, and the hub and drum assembly as well as the brakes will fit either the standard spindle or the 4" lift spindle. The electric brakes also come with the mounting hardware, so you're set with these components.
The Timbren Axle-Less system is a really smart idea for trailer suspension, because they give you an improved ride compared to a traditional through-axle. The reason for that is the Timbrens aren't connected by an axle beam, so they work independently, meaning if there is a bump on one side of the road it won't rattle your entire trailer. The system also has progressive springs built in which are shock absorbers that allow a much smoother, more comfortable ride than the leaf springs found on standard axles.
