Can I Mount A Roof Rack To My Camper Shell Using Parts From My Thule Ladder Rack

I have a Tule adjustable ladder rack. I just recently purchase a new camper shell. I would like to mount my Tule ladder rack rails to my camper shell and would like to purchase the right foot mounts. Can you point me in the right direction?

I do have a solution for you, but if your are thinking of moving your ladder rack's rails to the roof of your camper shell, that will not work. You will need the Thule Top Tracks. They come in varying lengths, such as the Thule Top Track Roof Mount System, 42" Long, part # THTP42, which is the 42" long track. Once you have the correct track in place you need the roof rack. It will consist of the following items:

Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars - Fixed Point - Qty 4, part # TH460R
Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 3101, part # THKIT3101
Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 4, part # TH450400.

This is what you need to install a roof rack on your camper shell. Thule has one adjustable ladder rack, the Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack - 1,250 lbs, part # TH43002XT-501. The rails on that system are not compatible with the Thule Feet, so you would not be able to mount them on your camper shell as the base of a Thule roof rack.
