Will the SumoSprings Solo Helper Springs Fit My 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor with 4 Inch Lift Kit?

Question:

I have a lifted Raptor 4 inch kit and terrible squatting when towing anything. I would like to try the SumoSprings but want to be sure I get the right kit. What kit would be correct? Thanks!

It truly depends on whether you have a 4-inch body lift or a suspension lift on your 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor. If you have a body lift, the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle # SS52GR fit and won't be affected by the extra height when installing. These springs will give you more support against squatting/sagging when towing.

If you happen to have a suspension lift, the gap between the frames increases by 4 inches. This extra height is too high for the SumoSprings. A great alternative is the LoadLifter 5000 # AL98UV. You will need a frame spacer to use this kit.

To determine the spacer you need, you need to take the measurement from the top of the axle tube to the bottom of your Raptor's frame and then subtract 8.85 inches (this is the total height of the # AL98UV). I linked a picture that shows how to conduct this measurement. Also, I went ahead and linked a product page to the Air Lift spacers that are compatible with the LoadLifter 5000.
