How To Determine A Correct Weight Distribution System
Question:
Looking for WDH/Sway hitch for Rockwood Roo 233S, could you recommend a system and the gross weight and tongue weight. I have a old Reese for a 75 25Ft Airstream that works great but there is no room on the frame for the sway arm mounts

In order to determine a proper weight distribution system, you'll need to know what the total loaded tongue weight of your Rockwood Roo Travel Trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. This is the most important, because if you were to choose a WDS that is too light or too heavy for the tongue of your vehicle then it will not improve the ride quality or reduce the sag of your vehicle, like it should.
You can use the etrailer Tongue Weight Scale for Campers and Utility Trailers - 2,000-lb Capacity # e99044 to determine your TTW.
From here you'll want to pick a system out, where your TTW falls somewhere in the middle of the spectrum.
