What Winch Do You Recommend To Replace My Rule T20S
Question:
Im trying to replace my discontinued Rule T20S used to hoist my dinghy and see this winch was recommended. Do I need to worry about it free-spooling,inch potentially ping the heavy dinghy from mid-air? Also, Im assuming this winch can raise, and lower, the dinghy with remote control provided?

You will not have any issues with the etrailer ATV Winch - Synthetic Rope - Hawse Fairlead - 2,500 lbs, part # e98988, free spooling, it has a mechanical brake that can hold up to 4,000 lbs. You will be able to raise and lower your dinghy with this winch. The rope that comes with this winch is rated for 2,500 lbs.
I have included a video review link below.
