Will this rack fit my car and can I open the trunk with the bikes mounted on this rack?

Yes, the Hollywood Rack # HRF6-2 is a fit for your 2003 Subaru Outback Wagon, however, you will not be able to open your hatch with the rack attached.
I have the installation instruction attached which show that you need to secure the straps through the top of the hatch door as well as the bottom of the hatch door, which, with those being your attachment locations prevents you from opening the door with your bikes attached.

The only ways to carry bikes and open your hatch would be to either install a hitch and use a hitch-mount bike rack or a roof rack system. If you would like to explore either of these possibilities, let me know and I will get you specific recommendations.
