How To Find Correct SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs for Jayco Eagle 29.5BHDS 5th Wheel

Question:

Hi there, I have a two axel trailer with each axel being rated at 5,145LB. Will this part work or do I need something slightly more heavy duty? I assume I would need to buy two sets, one for each axel, correct? Thx.

In regards to the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs for Overslung Axles, part # TSS-107-40 is for axle capacities between 3,000 lbs and 5,000 lbs. If you have an axle between 5,000 lbs and 8,000 lbs then you will need to use part # SS26MV instead. That said, axle capacities are listed as 2,000 lbs, 2,200 lbs, 3,500 lbs, 5,200 lbs, 7,000 lbs etc. so you might want to verify the true capacity listed on the axle tag in the center of the beam. If the true axle capacity is 5,200 lbs then you could go with either option although the heavier duty version would be best.

You'll indeed need one set per axle.
