The 8-247 casting number you provided indicates you have a standard 10 inch hub/drum which is typical for a 3500 lb axle.
Assuming your existing hub/drums have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern, the # 8-247-50UC3-EZ hub/drum would work fine for you, but for a car hauler you really don't need a galvanized hub. Instead, I'd recommend the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K as a much more affordable option that includes the bearings, races, grease seal, dust cap for both standard and EZ Lube spindles and lug nuts.
For brake assemblies, I'd recommend self adjusting brake assemblies like # 23-468-469 from Dexter.
I'll link to an article that explains how to determine your bolt pattern. If you have a different bolt pattern, let me know and I'd be happy to make a suggestion.
