Can The B&W 5th Wheels Rails Be Used With Curt Frame Brackets?

Question:

can i just but bandW 5th whwwl rails? i dont need the kit or anything else, i bought the curt kit from you but the rails do not have the height i need for my 4 slider hitch pins to lock it, they dont allow my slider hitch to lock in on my turning ion, so in the pics it seems the bandw is higher than my curt rails, i cant see thast dimension anywhere however, but hoping you can assist me

We do indeed have the B&W universal rails and for this you will need the # BWRVR3210. However, these do not include any hardware and cannot be used with frame brackets that are not the B&W brand. This actually goes for all manufacturers as they do not want their parts mixed and matched for this kind of install. So with that said, I also very highly recommend grabbing the B&W Custom Mounting Brackets # BWRVR2506. These are specifically designed for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 2500 (both long bed and short bed), and require no drilling for the install.

The # BWRVR3210 rails are also designed for use with the B&W Patriot, like the # BWRVK3270 sliding option, so you should have no problems getting your hitch installed properly. Though we do not have the dimensions for these listed, unfortunately, the other branded rails, like the Curt ones, do not list the Patriot as being compatible. So I can say that the B&W ones will be a little taller, I just can't say exactly how much that is.
