Spare Tire Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2002 Honda CR-V

Question:

Hello, I am wondering which bike rack is best to fit on the spare tire of my 2002 Honda CRV? I have two bikes: one womens bike that does not have a horizontal crossbar and one city bike that has a horizontal crossbar, but the crossbar is not exactly parallel to the groundit tilts down slightly toward the seat. From your website it seems that the THULE Spare Me rack TH963PRO would be good. Is that what you would recommend? AND, it seems I would need an adapter like the THULE adapter TH982XT for the Raleigh womens bike. Would I also need a second adapter for the second bike as described above?

There are several spare tire mount bike racks that will fit your 2002 Honda CR-V including the Thule Spare Me, # TH963PRO. I have included a link to the options for you. You would need an adapter for the step-through frame design of the womans bike for any of the available racks.

For the other bike, you would not have to have an adapter but it would help to make the bike more level.
