Should There Be a Gap Between the Grease Seal and Inner Bearing
Question:
After driving the seals in to the bottom of the taper, it looks like there is still a gap between the seal and the bearing. Should the seal contact the bearing?

A grease seal like the # GS-2250DL should not contact the inner bearing on your hub. The gap between the inner bearing and your grease seal is completely normal.
