Recommended Axle Replacement for 48 Inch Wide Trailer

Axle Replacement for 48 inch wide trailer. I want to run original equipment jeep wrangler rims with 30.9 rubber.

In order to find if the Dexter Trailer Idler Axle w/ Idler Hubs - EZ-Lube - 4 on 4 Bolt Pattern - 60" Long - 2,000 lbs # 20440I-EZ-60 will fit your 48" wide trailer you will need to measure the current axle. You will also want to make sure that this is the same capacity your current axle has. Assuming this is the correct capacity, the only thing you will need to find is the hub face to hub face measurement. This axle measures 60" so if your current axle matches, it will fit your trailer.

I have attached a helpful diagram showing where you need to measure. If you find that your measurements do not match these lengths then your only option would be a universal system like the Timbren # A20RS545.
