Roof Top Cargo Box Large Enough to Carry an Item 34-1/4 wide and 60 long
Question:
Can you tell me if a 34.2inch x 60inch glass windshield would fit in the Yakima Skybox 16? It looks like it would be a very tight fit.

Expert Reply:
For your 34.2"x60" windshield I recommend the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box # SR7018. This box has internal dimensions of 36" wide, 60" long and 17" tall.
The Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box # Y95AV will only have an internal length of 175 cm. The reason the dimensions are so different from the external is due to the shape of the box.
