Recommended Temperature Range For Installing A Kat's Heaters Heating Pad
Question:
How cold can it be outside to have 3m tape stick .
asked by: Rich
Expert Reply:
The ideal tape application temperature range is 70°F to 100°F (21°C to 38°C). Initial tape application to surfaces at temperatures below 50°F (10°C) is not recommended because the adhesive becomes too firm to adhere readily. However, once properly applied, low temperature holding is generally satisfactory.
If it's 3 degrees right now where you live like it is for us here in Wentzville, Missouri then I recommend pulling your vehicle into a garage and using a space heater to warm the area up and then applying your Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating Pad # KH24150 to the oil pan.
