I want to buy your gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter for a dodge ram but I want to keep my bed. Will it work with my truck?

We have a Demco Recon gooseneck to fifth wheel hitch that was designed for standard truck beds but the part # DM8550046 that you referenced was designed flat bed trucks that sit higher which is why the height is shorter and the ball coupler is so much lower.
So for a standard truck bed the Recon you'd want is the # DM8550045.
