How to Find Replacement Equalizer, Bolts, and Shackle Straps for Tandem Axle Trailer

Question:

Looking to replace the equalizers, shackles and bolts on my 2022 Freedom Express 252RBS travel trailer spread axles. What equalizers fit this trailer and which shackle/wet bolt kit do I need? Looks like both Lippert and MORryde make an equalizer that would work - which do you recommend? Thanks in advance for your response. P.s. I think this requires the 14-5/8 equalizer but need confirmation.

If your equalizers do measure 14-5/8" apart center on center and the height is 3-1/4" then the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers # LC314336 will be an upgrade that fits exactly as a replacement (see attached photo).

We don't have direct specs on individual pieces like what you're asking about but if you can confirm that measurement we are in good shape.

For replacement bolts and shackles we have the Lippert AP Kit # LC52SV which uses 9/16" bolts and 3-1/8" shackles (measured center hole to center hole). You'll want to measure your current shackles as well to make sure these are the same length.

If you measure and find that your specs don't match with these parts just let me know what you find and I'll be more than happy to help out!
